New Coop Progress

The new chicken coop is coming right along. It is seven and a half feet wide by six feet deep and eight feet tall. We are going to put a half loft it to store my straw bales.

Most of the rafters have been built and, weather permitting, will go in place on Saturday.

Love my Daddy!!

It's looking pretty spiffy, Penny. Your dad is a great little builder!

You already know this but if the chicks have access to the loft...guess where they'll sleep, nest and lay? -grin-
Your Daddy is handy as a pocket on a shirt; well done!

Hey there, guess what? My daddy and me are building me a chicken coop, too! How funny is that! Yours is bigger than mine, but I'm so excited! I've wanted chickens for several years now and my hubby is not a carpenter works alot. So let's hear it for DADS!!!
